Company Mission/Vision
Our vision is to continually build our team of water experts and expand our reach and services by leveraging the collective knowledge and abilities of the group. Our mission is to provide our clients with bountiful crops and beautiful landscapes with the least amount of water possible.
Company History
In 1995 Mitchel Walker started Walker Consulting & Design Group in Miami, Florida. The company was, and still is, focused on providing efficient irrigation solutions and professional outdoor water management. We offer experience and expertise in all facets of a project from engineering, design, construction, maintenance, and ongoing management. As an early adopter of efficient irrigation solutions, we’ve successfully designed and deployed many large-scale technology solutions and have a long track record of success, installing, programming, operating, and repairing smart connected outdoor sensors and controllers in landscape, agriculture, golf and industrial applications.
The company became Masuen Consulting, a general partnership, in 1997 after merging with 'By Design', a horticultural consulting and design firm owned by Michele Masuen. Masuen Consulting, LLC, was formed in 2004 as a limited liability partnership. The company maintains strong roots in Florida and expanded into the Pacific Northwest in 2005 and Texas in 2007.
Company Philosophy
Masuen Consulting, LLC and its staff provide their services based on project-specific facts, scientific knowledge, real-world experience and verified results. We are guided by our core values of respect, honor, trust, integrity, straight talk and believe the customer always comes first; and we NEVER compromise on these values.
If you want to work with a company who will listen to your wants, needs, goals and objectives, you have found your consultant. If you want a firm who will then provide time-tested, effective, efficient, non-biased solutions, which will save you time, money and water, then we look forward to working with you.
Our Management Team
With strong passions to care for the land, use water responsibly, and always do the “right thing,” Mitch prides himself on having a deep understanding of the big picture, making data-driven decisions, and providing solutions which deliver value to his customers.
He believes in surrounding himself with outstanding people, outlining their mission, providing them the tools and the authority to get the job done, then getting out of their way and watching as they exceed his and the client’s expectations.
Mitch is very proud of the company and team he and his wife Michele have built over the past 26+ years. As a former landscape and irrigation contractor, an active farmer/rancher, and owner of Masuen Consulting, he has gained extensive hands-on experience “in the field”.
